The Boat Race season 2016: OUWBC training Wallingford Image Library

Thanks to Christine Wilson, the Oxford women's Head Coach, it has been possible to capture OUWBC in training again.

It's one of the rare opportunities to concentrate on technical details, unusual perspectives, and, most importantly, on the individual athletes, to capture rowing portraits - not polished studio shots, but headshots taken during a training session, whilst rowing.

All photos are in sequential order, none of them has been edited (photoshopped), they are just honest and intimate portraits of the 2016 Oxford Women's Blue Boat rowers.
